10 Weeks of Newsletters

Join us online: Young Adult Books for Teachers and Librarians. (University of Wisconsin - Stout; Sharron McElmeel, Instructor).  Next session begins June 7, 2021.

The current ten-week series of newsletters will begin on June 5, 2021, each for the following week.
Check back on the date for the first newsletter.

During the ten weeks a new edition of the Young Adult Literature – Weekly Newsletter will be published each Sunday.  This newsletter will present examples of new books, introducing authors, genres, formats, and sharing current discussions in the field of literature, as well as types of sources that promote literacy, new publications, specific articles, useful websites, and discourse regarding the use of literature with young learners.
One of the goals of sharing these resources is to promote the use of literature in the classroom/library and with young learners and their community and families, and to develop an awareness of the lexicon of literature and current publishing in the field.
